Maria Reczynska was born in 1988 in Poland. She is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, where she trained as an engineer. She holds dual Polish and Canadian citizenship and lives in Montreal, Quebec.

She wrote it out of a sense of duty after surviving an extreme spiritual ordeal in her thirties — an experience she compares to being led into hell and left there alone. The book is her first-person testimony of how unwavering trust in God carried her through.

## Why Maria writes

Maria did not set out to be an author. She is, by training and by temperament, an engineer — someone who prefers to solve problems quietly and move on.
